The aims of the Society are:
1) To effect the association of the Greek Pontians who are residents of the USA or are students in he USA
2) To promote and foster educational activities of its members and friends
3) To promote ansd cultivate appreciation for the Greek Pontian history, culture, language, ethnic origin and heritage
4) To collect documents, information and artifacts related to Pontian history and culture
5) To create a Pontian library and museum
6) To promote Greek Pontian fine arts, through the organization and presentation of theatrical, musical and dance programs
7) The publication and circulation of newspapers, periodicals and books related to the Greeks of Pontos.
8)The participation in and promotion of the Pan-Pontian Federation of USA and Canada
9) The efforts of the Society to always abstain from politics
10) The organization and promotion of various athletic activities
